GTA donates $2,500 to Mañe'lu

Pacific Daily News Feb 21, 2024

GTA donated some $2,500 to Mañe’lu, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and families in the community.

The donation was collected through a recent holiday campaign where GTA raised funds by selling tote bags designed by local artist Austin Domingo, with all proceeds benefiting Mañe’lu and its programs, GTA said in a press release.

During the months of November and December last year, residents supported the community initiative to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need. On Feb. 1, the local telecom company presented the donation at a GTA Gives Thank You luncheon for community partners held at Dusit Thani Guam Resort in Tumon.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to our community, especially during the holiday season, Nate Denight, GTA vice president of product and marketing, said. “Partnering with Mañe’lu and showcasing the artistic talents of our local community through these tote bags has been incredibly rewarding. We’re grateful for the overwhelming support from our customers and community members.”

Mañe’lu, renowned for its commitment to empowering children and families through education, mentorship, and community engagement, expressed deep gratitude for the generous donation from GTA.

The funds raised will directly support Mañe’lu’s initiatives, through a diverse range or projects and programs.

GTA’s annual holiday campaign stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and community spirit. By uniting to support organizations like Mañe’lu, GTA can foster meaningful change and brighter futures for the next generation, the company said.
