We Match Volunteers & Children
This helps create a Mentor-Mentee relationship where both will get to hang out, learn more about each other, be involved in community activities, and more - all while growing and learning from their experience together.
Mañe’lu’s Mentoring Program offers 3 types of mentoring platforms for you to become a part of:
Community Mentor
Community mentors and mentees, once matched, spend time together after school or on the weekends, Whatever fits both of your schedules. Beach days, reading or catching a local event are all fun things you could do together.
Site Mentor
Site mentors are matched with mentees at a school or at one of the communities we work in. Site mentors will meet their mentees during school lunch or during our after-school community activities. Staff will always be on hand to bring fun activities and games for you and your mentee to join.
Mentor for the Day
Come out to one of our special events and be matched with a child for the day. Mentors and mentees are matched for the day of the event and get to hang out, have fun with other mentors & mentees that have been matched as well.
